learning is producing
To actually learn things, you need to do them by hand. This is something I struggled with in high school but got really good at in college (as I was studying topics that interested me more). It’s so easy to fall into the course trap, especially in CS-related career paths where there’s always more to learn.
Watching one year of studying (it was a mistake) made me think about this more.
Learning is PRODUCING.
Learn what you need—this helps you stay focused on the right things.
In the past few months, I’ve learned many new concepts about Swift by actually working on a project app. In the future, I want my wishes and whys to determine my learning curriculum. I think that makes a lot of sense.
