the next loop

Published on November 11, 2025

I’ve just read this wonderful post about doing things. I’ve felt almost every positive and negative aspect “of life” described in the post. I love how simple yet brilliant this post is by encapsulating much of the human experience and what this is all about.

Making things is one of the purest joys of living. I’ve recently written in my journal about the two things I want to do every single day – making and learning.

If you still can’t start, it might not be about motivation at all. Sometimes it’s your environment or your mental state. When you stay too long in the same place, surrounded by the same things, your brain starts to rot a bit. Everything feels dull and repetitive, like time isn’t moving. I saw many people trying to get out of this circle with journaling, trying pills, reading inspiring books.. one year later they’re still stuck..

Once things are simplified and you have energy to put things in motion, most beautiful things happen.
