go for a walk
A daily walk is going to become mandatory in my life. Yesterday, it was perfect for clearing my mind, stepping away from work, and refreshing myself before volleyball practice. Today, I plan to go right after finishing this post.
I recently had an idea for an app to remind and encourage people to spend more time outside. However, I discovered this amazing app (not yet publicly available) that’s essentially what I wanted to build—but 100x more beautiful.
The problem is, since I work from home, there are days when I don’t go outside at all (except for quick errands). This is an issue because it leaves me feeling off.
I also spend the whole day in front of a computer. When I’m outside, I rarely check my phone or use any devices, but when I’m indoors, there’s not much else to do. Even after 8 hours of work, I can easily spend another 3+ hours in front of the screen, working on projects or for entertainment. It’s quite frustrating.
Speaking of screen time… This morning, I worked on some small improvements for this website, and I’m quite happy with the results.
