the next loop

What’s Next?

OK, let’s do this. It’s October 28th, and I’m in a public library thinking about the future of my projects. I remembered about the next loop, a simple blog I set up a while ago to write about the current state of technology, Apple, indie development, personal projects, and more.

Since the last post I published, I’ve published 2 new apps to the App Store, and although it feels good, I know that this is just the beginning.

My current main focus is on two things – making sure I get more people in front of my fasting app and writing about my thoughts and learnings on this blog.

Even though I’m a full-time employee, I want my life to still feel like the life of a student. I want to learn about myself, unknown unknowns, and more.

My current next steps are:

  • focusing on “marketing” for my fasting app – I hate this one so much, so I need to find a way to make it fun. I also need to learn more about this, which is also exciting
  • having one small “project” – I’m looking for a fun challenge where I don’t just do the boring things. Maybe something like redesigning the timeline, which will challenge my design and engineering skills
  • posting on this blog regularly (and doing a smaller redesign, of course)
